Viduthalai Chiruthaikal Katchi MLA Ravikumar called for the merger of his party with another Dalit outfit, Puthiya Tamizhagam.The merger of these two parties could attract more than 16 per cent of the votes in Tamil Nadu.

Christmas celebration in Tamilnadu

Christmas was celebrated across Tamil Nadu, with midnight mass and prayers.The famous churches in the state-- at Velankanni in Nagapattinam district, the Besant Nagar, Armenian Street and Santhome churches in Chennai celebrated in grand manner.Good number of people came for midnight prayers.People celebrated by attending midnight mass,by visiting relatives and by distributing cakes.

PWD engineer killed in kanpur

The PWD engineer M K Gupta, who was killed by a BSP MLA and his aids.He was beaten up mercilessly that caused his death, police said.Meanwhile, tension prevailed in rural places of Kanpur.Today a bandh is called by Samajwadi Party to protest against the engineer's killing.

Saran going to do movie with Ajith

According to latest rumor abuzz ,Ajith is on a search for the right director and it might be Saran. Sivaji Productions had signed Ajith as the hero for their next movie. Gautam Menon was earlier said to direct.

Ajith want Vishnuvardhan , the maker of 'Billa' want to direct his movie. The director who is busy with Sarvam couldn't take up the project before its completion. Later, it was Dharani, KS Ravikumar and Prabhudeva but they rejected due to tight schedules of the filmmakers.

Now, Ajith and the production house seem to be contemplating on Saran to direct his movie. The director saran who gave the hits 'Kadhal Mannan', 'Amarkalam' and 'Attakasam' could be the right choice.
